Overview
The Cisco Catalyst Center Foundations (CCFND) training expands your knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center, including its core capabilities, deployment and scalability options, initial configuration, operational best practices and integration with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
The training focuses on how Cisco Catalyst Center supports network automation, network assurance, network security and network programmability. You will learn how the platform is deployed and operated, how devices are discovered and provisioned, how health and performance are monitored, and how Cisco Catalyst Center helps automate enterprise network operations.
The course also introduces Cisco SD-Access architecture, fabric networking, underlay and overlay routing, fabric node roles, endpoint visibility and policy-based segmentation using group-based, IP-based and application policies.
This training is not associated with a specific certification exam. However, it is strongly recommended as an introduction to topics included in the Implementing and Operating Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies (350-401 ENCOR) v1.1 exam.
The training earns 44 Cisco Continuing Education credits toward recertification.
