Implementing Automation for Cisco Data Center Solutions v1.1 E-Learning (CPLL-DCAUI)

Learn to automate Cisco data centre environments using Cisco ACI, NX-OS, UCS, APIs, Python, Ansible, Git, JSON, YAML, NETCONF, RESTCONF and YANG.

Overview

Implementing Automation for Cisco Data Center Solutions (DCAUI) v1.1 is a self-paced e-learning course that teaches you how to implement automated solutions across Cisco-powered data centre environments. The training covers programming concepts, orchestration and automation tools through a combination of lessons and hands-on practice.

You will examine Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (Cisco ACI), Software-Defined Networking for data centre and cloud networks, Cisco Nexus platforms running Cisco NX-OS, and Cisco Unified Computing System (Cisco UCS). The course explores the APIs, software development toolkits and workflows available across these platforms.

You will also work with widely used industry standards and tools, including Python, Ansible, Git, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), YAML, Network Configuration Protocol (NETCONF), Representational State Transfer Configuration Protocol (RESTCONF) and Yet Another Generation (YANG).

What You Will Learn

  • Understand the benefits of programmability, orchestration and automation in a Cisco-powered data centre.
  • Implement automation workflows across Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus NX-OS and Cisco UCS environments.
  • Use modern programming concepts and APIs to improve data centre network operations.
  • Work with Python, Ansible and Git as part of practical automation workflows.
  • Use JSON and YAML to structure and exchange automation data.
  • Understand how NETCONF, RESTCONF and YANG support programmable network management.
  • Build high-demand automation skills that can enhance network functionality and operational efficiency.
