Overview
The Implementing and Operating Cisco Security Core Technologies (SCOR) course is a five-day program designed to help you prepare for Cisco CCNP Security and CCIE Security certifications and senior-level security roles. You will develop the skills required to implement core Cisco security solutions and provide advanced threat protection against cybersecurity attacks.
The training covers network, cloud and content security, endpoint protection, secure network access, visibility and enforcement. Hands-on activities include Cisco Firepower Next-Generation Firewall, Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA), access control policies, mail policies, 802.1X authentication, Cisco Stealthwatch Enterprise and Cisco Stealthwatch Cloud.
The course, including self-paced material, prepares you for the 350-701 SCOR exam. It leads toward CCNP Security, CCIE Security and Cisco Certified Specialist – Security Core certifications, and qualifies for 64 Cisco Continuing Education credits toward recertification.
